Upto 400kHz step frequency operation UC300ETH

Postby alex_s » Mon Sep 25, 2017 6:58 pm

Was wondering if the 400kHz is per axis or a total for all.

cheers

Each axis can output at 400Khz.

400kHz per axis, I mean every axis can do 400kHz step frequency.

Watch out for setting to 400kHz. If your drivers can't handle that (and most of them can't) then it will cause some missing steps and/or stalling.

the Servos and drives ask for a minimum of 125kHz, but if it is 400kHz per axis then all is fine :)

Thx ger21 and cncdrive for the confirmation.
