UC400ETH loses its connection with UCCNC

My y UC400ETH loses its connection with UCCNC 9 out of 10 times on opening. On the few times it started well I was able to config all the limits and home positions. All worked as they should. I have also configured the steps per unit, Velocity and Acceleration. The X and Z operate as they should however the Y will not allow me to fill in the Velocity. When I place the proper number hit return and save the Velocity setting, it changes to a much smaller number. When I test the Y axis it moves but painfully slow. I have reset the UC400, replaced both the Ethernet cable and the Ethernet card, and changed the video card. I'm at a total loss as the system boots and starts well but not all of the time. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jim Amato

right click on your desktop shortcut. confirm the user you have has full access rights to read/write etc. (full administrator rights)
confirm this as right click. run as administrator. if it starts properly thats your issue ( i have had this)
