Loading Profiles

Hi there, my UCCNC Ver 1.2111 always starts with the default profile, I then load my profile and try to create desk top short cut apply and save, it will run with my profile but when I
shut down and start again it will start with the default profile again, am I missing something or is there another setting some where that I should try. I know when I was using the previous version I actually had an icon on the desk top with my profile, but I can't seem to be able to do it again.
