Trouble with slave axis uc300 and c76

Postby Mark Kraus » Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:00 pm

Just install AUC 300 With C76 breakout board Find slaving a axis to the Y axis. When I press the job button for why negative only the Y moves in the negative direction..
When I press the Y positive ba moves in the negative direction and the wide moves in the positive direction twisting the gantry.
I have tried every combination I can think of for the settings low vs high on both axis.
How can I send the profile ? I do not see how the wiring would be the issue because the a moves in both directions using other settings

I just went through this. What worked for me was setting both step and direction of the Y to active low.

I think I tried that but I will check in the morning and post the result. Thanks for the suggestion.
I forgot to mention about a different issue. The holding brake for z axis servo . What is the best practice for the input to detect servo or encoder fault to then have brake apply?

OK it's almost midnight and I couldn't resist trying it again I found out that the A-axis was only moving in one direction so I switched the ethernet cable from the X to the a and it worked in the X only worked in 1 direction so I had a bad ethernet cable .
