We built a new CNC router for a customer, attached picture.

Very neat and clean build. Can you show a side view of your cable management . Are you adding t-slot track ? I used the same round linear rails and found them to be excellent. Been using them for 4 years now they self clean just a wipe of WD-40 now and then keeps them running quiet and smooth.

The linear rails are SBR20 rails.
We use these on 2 of our similar machines for 12 years now without problems.
This machine will only be used for wooden panel cutting.
And we used ballscrews not racks.
