configuration tab instead of run tab

Postby kawarider » Sun Jun 17, 2018 10:54 am

Hello, new here and this is my first question. I hope that there will not follow to much of these stupid questions. We are building/retrofitting a plasmacutter. UCCNC board with Neuron hight control. Components are srewed on a steel plate, wiring has to be done, as well as testdrive with servo's/steppers.
Computer is dedicated for uccnc and nothing else. Sheetcam is for postprocessor and is done on another computer. Cnccomputer starts up and loads uccnc, neuron screen I got it loaded. And here's something wrong, it start on the configuration tab instead of run tab. Not a big problem but not how it's planned. I did something wrong with saving in the configuration/profile tab, but what? Default uccnc and plasma cnc start the same way now. What couls be the solutions that it starts direct to the run tab?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the stupid question.

What tab pages are selected on startup is coded into the screenset file.
You probably edited the screen and saved the screen with the screen editorwith the configuration tab page selected.
When saving the screen the software checks through which tab pages are selected at that time and saves those pages to be opened on startup.

If you want different tab pages to be selected then edit the screen with the screen editor and open the RUN page in screen edit mode (hold shift keyboard key and click the tab) for example and then save the screenset with the screen editor.
Then on next startup the RUN screen will show up...

No, the built in screen editor in the UCCNC.
You find it on the General settings page in the Configuration, the Edit screen button.
You can also find some explanation about how it works in the UCCNC manual.
