Axis Calibration

Postby naijin » Thu Jun 14, 2018 10:16 am

Hi there, this morning I decided to calibrate the axis on my machine, I went into configuration screen, selected Y axis, clicked Calibration, entered -200 and clicked OK, the axis started to move in the -Y direction but it was ever so slow ( I looked out the window and the grass on my lawn was growing faster than the speed the axis was moving at) this happened for all three axis, I tried adjusting the jog speed but it made no difference, have I missed a setting or something, or is there some way of speeding up the process? I have attached the xml file

You can set the calibration feedrate on the calibration window, there is a Feedrate textbox on it.

And one thing which can limit the calibration feedrate is if the axis velocity setting is set lower then ofcourse that will be the limit.
So, for example you set the calibration feedrate to 100, but the axis velocity is only 50 then the axis will run with 50 only.
