Z axis homing problem

Strange one!
I helped a friend refit his machine aver a year ago to uc400eth.
His 3 homing switches are wired to one pin
X and y home properly
Z goes to home switch. Stops z axis motor but dro keeps moving and doesn't show homed.
This has all been working fine up until last week
Today on my advice he upgraded to 1.2047 but it's still the same
Any pointers?

OK, thanks. There's a problem in the profile: the Z and A axes use the same output pin. If A axis is not used, delete the step and dir port/pin data, or change them not to conflict with Z step/dir port/pins.

Thanks for looking at that. It may be that you are seeing that I tried to (at the suggestion of Brendon) set my A axis up as my Z axis and try homing it to see if I still had the same problem, which it did. I have now changed all of the A axis settings back to the default but am still getting the Z axis problem where the DRO does not set to Zero and keeps going.
