jog buttons not working on touch screen

I just set up uccnc on a tablet. The jog buttons do not work at all. Can home and run gcode files, seem normal. I do not have a mouse or keyboard connected, using only touch screen. Other buttons on the jog menu work, like step size, and step/continuous buttons. would need a bluetooth keyboard to use since i have only one usb port. Is there a solution for this, did a google search and seems this happens to others as well.

Somebody told similar recently, the difference is that he said that the jog works, just have to tap twice.
Although the jog keys work fine on my tablet.

The thing is that the jog keys are handled the same way, the mouse down and up events are handled just like with other buttons, the only difference of the jog keys from other keys is that they are on the jog panel, which is a panel control on the side of the UCCNC window.
I have no idea unfortunately about why would a touchpanel handle the touches different as mouse presses. In my opinion it should handle them the same, I mean we handling no specific "touch" events in the UCCNC, so the touch presses are mouse down and up events, that is what is handled. So, if it does not work properly with a touchscreen then the touchscreen is doing something differently.
Can you check the touch panel settings, maybe there is a setting which influences this.

Since other buttons and text fields work on the jog screen, i don't see setting for the touch screen are the problem. On another post on this forum, there was a mention of Safe Z affecting jog. They mentioned some way of turning off Safe Z, can't find it. I have tried various setting for Safe Z on general settings page, no change. What else prevents jog from working??

Found solution on another site. I need to tap the jog arrow then press to get it to work. Suspect the jog window is loosing focus, and the first tap gets its focus back.
