analog pins

Hi,
I notice that there are 2 sets ,analog input 1&2
and 2 sets analog output 1&2

are bath sets wired in parallel? or could you use one mill xlm with the inputs on pins 3&4, and if pins 11& 12 were not allocated they would not be read ,and whatever was connected would be ignored?
then another xlm which the pins 11&12 allocated but not 3&4,and whatever attached to 3&4 ignored?
The same going for the outputs.

I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly.

Analog output 1. channel is a totally different signal than analog output 2. channel.
And the same is with the analog inputs.

for example there are 2 pins allocated to input 1 2pins to input 2
2 pins to output 1 and 2 pins to output2
are they connected within the uc300?

I still don't understand your question, but there is a thing so called measurement.
I suggest you measure out what you need the information for or explain the question in a way to let me understand.

If you mean that on analog port e.g. the Analog output 1 is connected to both pin 6 and pin 14 then yes, they are the same. The two lines of the connector are the same pins, just doubled. When two or more pins have the same name then they are connected.

look on page 21 of the uc300eth manual, and you will see a pin out chart.
pin 3 an pin 11 both say analog input , what I want to know is, are those 2 directly connected ,or does it use one or the other? I really cant think how I can put it any simpler!

The analogue inputs and outputs are INDIVIDUAL inputs and outputs. There are two inputs and two outputs, sharing a common ground, so they are NOT isolated, but they are NOT parallel, each input and output can be controlled individually. I am not sure what you mean by "wired in parallel" and also not sure I understand what you are asking. Each input is individually read and handled by UCCNC and that goes for the outputs also.

I see now what you mean. Pins 3 and 11, 4 and 12, 6 and 14, 7 and 15 are the same. The card has TWO inputs and TWO outputs.

OK, I understand now.
Pin 3. and Pin 11. are both connected to Analog input 1., so they are the same signal and so ofcourse they are connected together inside the board.
