Not yet, but if someone were to write a plugin or wizard or something else helpful I'd give it a go...

ive been retrofitting old copy lathe to mill/turn
just havnt decided on clutch system to change from 4th axis to rotary. (experimenting with magnetic clutch from car aircon compressor)
4th axis operated by 750 watt servo geared 10;1
rotary driven by 3kw induction.

i tried testing with 2kw syncronous but my 220v to 380v doesnt handle the fine moves nicely .

axis drive needs to be very stiff and not move if cutter is trying to drag it around- hence choosing geared down servo
trouble is a geared down servo cant run at the rpm required for turning- require ungeared for that
looking at all the comercial machines- they seem to have the same system- magnetic clutch to engage the rotary axis- free wheeling when turning.
(talking wood lathe here- not metal)
