Edit file button prompts saving a file when nothing open

Clicking on the edit file button when nothing is loaded would prompt one to save to a file. It sounds like a bug to me.

No, it is not a bug. It is because you have no file opened and so the software asks you to create and save a new file which you can open.

So the current logic is that if there is no file open while clicking on the edit button, the software would ask the user to create an empty file so it can start editing? I'm not sure who would want to create a new gcode file manually. Wound't it be more useful to ask the user to open an existing file to edit? Anyway, it is what it is. Thanks.
