Very cool.

So does one board match the IO of one of the ports 1,4,5 of the 5LPT? So you would buy 3 if you wanted to max it out?

It looks like you are using the same plugs as you have on the DG4S drives. If so I like that a lot. Make swapping out a bad board super easy.

Well if your looking for a Beta tester I know this guy..........

One board for ports 1&2, and one for 3&4, if I understand him correctly.

Yes, Gerry is correct. The BOB has 2 ports, one is with standard pinout and the other is with input type pinout,
So, 2 BOBs can be connected, one to e.g. ports 1. and 2. and the other to ports 3. and 4. of he UC300ETH-5LPT.

Will it work with the DG4S drives error routine without additional circuitry like the HDBB2?

In the DG4S there are NPN transistors on the error line, so you can drive any of the optocoupler inputs on the BOB using the error line, because the transistor is powerful enough to drive out the opto.
So, you can connect any number of error lines together and connect to the optocoupler - side and connect a positive voltage to the optocoupler positive side.
When the error line activates it drives the optocoupler giving a signal to the UCCNC.
And since you wired all error lines together all drives will stop if one faults and when it triggers the error line.
