AXBB-E 5V Input (stepper driver alarm signal)

Postby tillibilli » Thu Dec 19, 2024 5:37 pm

Hello all,

I've been using an AXBB-E for quite some time and am super happy with it.

However today I realised, that the alarm output of my closed loop stepper driver doesn't put it into reset.
I think this is caused by the signal being 5v, and the AXBB inputs being configured for 10-30V.

Is there any good solution to come around this? Shoul i use a 5-> 24v stepup converter?

Thanks!

You could use the 5Volts signal.
Just make sure to configure that input as Reset or Stop.
You can do it in the "Faultsignals" plugin.

Oh, thanks a lot for the reply!

Now that i think about it, it's possible that i didn't fully configure this. Will check it out tomorrow, thanks!
