yes, sure, F0.01 = 2
it is like this for more than 5 years, with Mach3 and modbus control. even now, it is working fine under mach3
it is the same computer, same hardware, where I intend to switch from Mach3 to UCCNC

I found the problem.

In VFD's settings:
F6.06 - Response measure - should be "0", which mean "Response at write"
It was "1", meaning "No response at write". I have no idea why I set it to 1, it was very long time ago. :)
It seems this response is not need it in Mach3 but required for Modbus Master plugin. Also, is still working in Mach3, too

And one more thing: the UCCNC register's value for on-off function should be 1, 2 or 5. If 0, the function return "Loop wait" error

Best regards,
Seb

me again!

one minor issue: I have a relatively big delay for M5 command.
after M5 command, the spindle keep running for 4-5, maybe 6 sec, then decrease rpm and stop
could be a modbus issue or else? what else?

my modbus config (from profile file)

Code: Select all
[ModbusMaster]
Version=1.060000
Connections=1
Conn0="DZB200B",True,250,3,1000,RTU,COM10,9600,8,None,1,True,4
Conn0Fn0="ON-OFF-RESET",True,1,Write_SingleRegister,1,4096,0
Conn0Fn1="VFD Speed",True,1,Write_SingleRegister,1,8192,1
Conn0Fn2="VFD Error",True,1,Read_HoldingRegisters,1,4097,2
Conn0Fn3="VFD Status",True,1,Read_HoldingRegisters,5,12290,3

thank you
