Modbus settings/connection lost

After 3 yeas of all working nicely, came to use my mill and spindle would not start. On checking the Modbus connection and all parameters have disappeared. Is there a way to recover the connections/settings or a backup file with the details in it?

do you have a copy of your profile? everything is stored in there.

I thought I did but I can't find it. The weird thing is all the rest of the profile is perfect but the modbus section has disappeared.
