install error when installing drivers for uc100

Postby wasteofspace » Tue Jul 09, 2024 4:55 am

Hi,
I get the following message when I try to use the install program for the drivers for the UC100

Load Warning - '1', hexadecimal value 0x18, is an invalid character. Line 1,position 39796. -

But, the number inside the ' ' is an up arrow, not a 1 as I have shown. I just don't know how to insert an arrow sign.

Can anybody tell me how can I get past this error?

Thank you

This error message has nothing to do with the UC100 drivers, but it is because there is an error in your Mach3 xml settings file.
The error is because you using a cracked Mach3 license key, the solution to the problem is to purchase a valid Mach3 license key or to remove the cracked license key and run Mach3 in demo mode.

Importers buy Chinese machine rebrand them and supply illegal Mach 3 copies as a "free" bonus to buy the machine. 99% of the Mach3 copies are cracked. I believe the Mach3 forum has posted a list of illegal sellers.
