UCCNC license file not working

I received a license file [UCCNClicense_CD2325.txt], which I copied to the C:\UCCNC subdirectory. I thought that would be recognized by the software but it still opens in demo mode. How do I fix this?

Actually, I did follow the manual, sparse as it is on details.

Did you setup the network card IP address as described in the users manual?
What does the UCx00 utilty tool says when you test the connection?

There was a typo when setting up the ethernet connection. Once resolved the license file was accepted.
