M7 & M8 bug on 1.2116

Postby Coyote94 » Sun May 26, 2024 6:04 pm

Hi,
Using 1.2116.
Since weeks I tried to use M7 and M8 with static relay, I had strange relay behaviors : relay blinked, actived but can't unactived or not both at the same time, etc...
I tried to change delays,ports, etc..nothing really worked.

Then, I tried 1.2115 version and...it's works !

It looks like they changed something quite deeply because I have several problems with 1.2116;

- M7 and M8 not turning off as per above.
- Outputs are slow to react. I have a macroloop to control a machine work beacon and I had to introduce some thread.sleep() to give it time to turnoff the output otherwise the RGB lights get stuck on.
- Laser pin/output not working properly. My laser only can make inconsistent lines (no scan fill anymore).
- As per others reports Slave Axis A freezes with some homing routines and does not follow the Y axis.
- (This is just perception, but the sound of the motors appears to be inconsistent, if I run a backslash test it sounds a bit inconsistent, the machine sort of pauses a bit before the next move)

All of the above working fine in 1.2115
