G2 G3 ...... Seriously

Postby Spuds » Sun Feb 04, 2024 4:41 am

Is anyone seriously working on this ?
I see the other posts, but there is no fix there.
I can make a file work but he display has to be in Rad. mode.
Just one line of code for a simple fillet ...... G2 or G3, don't matter .... show me, please. And have the proper toolpath view.
2-1/2" shaft turned to 1" with a .5" radius fillet.
Thanks
1.2116

No, we not working on this anymore, because this has already been changed.
I'm saying "changed", and not "fixed" because the issue is the I parameter, if it has to be in RAD or in DIA.
After some discussions we decided to change it to DIA the same way as it is in LinuxCNC for example.

For 1.2116 you can program the I parameter in radius, in your example you can program I1 instead of I0.5 and then your code looks just fine.
In 1.2117 the parameter I will be in diameter, we already changed this a few days ago.

There is no 1.2117 yet, it is future release yet, but we discussed about this problem in another forum topic: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4708&start=30

Yes, I assumed that from the other topics.
When do you anticipate that next version release ?
Then I will know when to come back and look for it. (If I am away for a while)
Thanks !
