Postby Mark Kraus » Sun Jan 21, 2024 3:08 am

I have a slaved Y axis to the B axis and when I home the y axis, the B axis stops at the sensor but Y axis keeps going.

Have you got the same Home Pin and Port numbers on each axis?

My Y and A (slave) had the same settings and never had a problem. Maybe post pictures of your setting for each?

The purpose of homing two axes together is to align the gantry or such. So make sure that the limit switch for the Y axis is operation obviously the B axis is working. Do you see the homing switch input change state for both the axes? You also might want to check that the direction for backing off is opposite as well. Mine needed one of them reversed to make it back off correctly.
