I’ve been using the LinuxCNC post (just change extension to .nc) UCCNC for turning. New features are welcomed and certainly make it nicer experience.

Just giving this a bump because what good is the turn feature without a post processor. Does anyone know of a generic post or any other post for Fusion360 that will work in the meantime for most of the basic features until an official fully featured UCCNC Turn Post is developed?

I ended up using the mach3 turn post processor to start with.

Post processing is normally the last stage of cam software.

Example, Mastercam, Sheetcam, Fusion 360, etc, all do post processing at the end.

So talking about post processing here won't get one developed. UCCNC is mainly a CNC controller, that uses the gcode that has been spit out by a cam post processor.
Instead go to the specific forum for the cam software you intend to use and ask about a post processor for UCCNC turn there.

The LinuxCNC or the Tormach Pathpilot turn posts should work fine for that until a proper one is created.

Just a thought, (;-) TP

UCCNC turn software was already released, you can find it in the test releases topic of the forum.

Thanks for the info, I never check that test release forum. I have installed it, I will be busy today to learn this turn software.
