Ignore homing?

Postby Tallen91 » Thu Nov 09, 2023 8:33 am

Hi

I run a very basic CNC-Plasma setup/machine and only use it periodically. Now whenever i start up UCCNC, before i am able to cut/use the
machine in says something like "Machine must be homed before setting Z-zero". I thus must home the machine before being able to use it.

I don't care about homing; It's just a nuisance and very timeconsuming since my limit/homing switches dont work correctly.
I think i had an earlier version of UCCNC on my old computer (broken) that never complained about not being homed.
It worked much better for me.

TLDR:
Is there a way to disable the need for homing the machine before using the it?

The homing message is coming from your Z zero macro. You can edit it out of the macro.
