I'm sure that this has been a headache for many who are new to CNC Plasma.
I'm having trouble with getting the Z Torch Touch off probe working correctly.
I have tried all of the Macros that i can find on the subject and to be honest i am tying myself in knots.
Summary:
Fusion 360
AXBB-E Controller
UCCNC Software version 1.2113
Using the default Plasma Plug in.
Floating Head mechanical switch: Probe 1 - Pin 4 Port 2:
I have set the Probe tool which works as expected, drives down Z at fast speed, triggers Floating Head switch, lifts to fine distance, probes at fine speed, triggers Floating head switch, Lifts Z to 0. As i expected..
If i use the M31, Z travels to touch the plate, Floating Head switch triggers, Probe triggers in "safe probe mode" and system reset. :
This is where i get stuck, i don't know how to get beyond this point...Am i using the wrong M code?
G31 does nothing except enable probing.
Is there a Macro that someone with some brain power has managed to overcome?
I've tried the M1031 by Robertspark but had the same issue
I have been at this for a while and am really quite stuck, I hope someone with more smarts than I can help me out....
