Custom scrollbar and slider?

Hi,
i'd like to know if there are any plans to add the ability to customize the scrollbars and sliders. I'm working on a new screen for UCCNC and i'd like to be able to modify the scrollbars and sliders (maybe not just me). Or maybe add to the plugininterface events like MouseDown, MouseUp, MouseMove, just a thought.

How did you achieve this? I'm interested in modifying the scrollbar on my custom screenset.
