I've been using UCCNC and a UC300ETH to drive a lathe for a couple of years now.

So that I have a meaningful display, I just wrote a program to change lathe GCode from X to Y, and Z to X.

I never use canned cycles (mill or lathe), so I don't miss them anyway.

I'm looking forward to a dedicated lathe version, but I don't have any troubles with it as it is now.

Have you considered adding the polygonal milling feature to the lathe version of UCCNC ?

Yes, I thought about it, but it is not decided if we will implement it in the near future.

LONGGGGGGG time since any updates to the software , waiting on turn as well as all the bug fixes in the last year that havent been addressed.

I think its time we accept the fact that this is not a serious piece of software, and wont be updated to the extent expected of anyone interested in its commercial usage.
