How use the spindle control output UC300 for my VDF

Postby Josemi77 » Sat Aug 12, 2023 11:49 am

First of all thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
I would like to change the CNC controller of my machine and I have thought about the UC300 card. The doubt arises from the spindle speed control. My current VDF seems to be controlled by a 0-5 V input (PWM ???). I have reviewed information on the web, in the forum, I have contacted vendors but so far they have not resolved my doubts. I am going to attach a photo of the control port of my current VDF. Let's see if you can help me and clarify my doubts. Thanks in advance!

You should get the user manual. Look for the wiring diagram showing connections for a manual potentiometer control (positive+, wiper, gnd-). And post the diagram image.

UC300 uses the analogue output pins , it outputs a 0-10V pwm signal , most VFD can be set to a 0-5v or a 0-10v signal in the parameter settings
