New driver for my setup !!!

I have a UCCB + UC300ETH I use for my lathe and router, and I use the DM556 driver on all... using 2x Nema23 for the lathe and 3x Nema34 router

sometime I have to reboot the setup to find 1 driver so I change this driver end then it is ok.... but if I try to make a cirkel on the routerit is not round so I gess I loos steps ??

So now I think the time is for tryning other driver as I use DM556 but what do U use on your setup ????

I don't think that the driver can cause losing steps. Sounds like some other problem.

It depends on how your circles are distorted?
It is unlikely that it is caused by lost steps though.
It is more likely that it is backlash or cogging on the ballscrews or mechanical weakness and deflection.
