Yes, a lot been changed and rewritten for the better, and I suggest you don't settle with 1.3 and figure out why 8.1 is not working for you. It is by far the more stabile and reliable version.

I did find what I'm not going to call a problem YET, but more of a inconvenience. If you are switching between profiles, and that includes default, you MUST go back to the HYplugin configure window and hit the calculate button each profile change. The settings from previous profile my show in textbox's but wont be used until you click the calculate button.

I have just used the standard screenset. I have the Sact field set in Plugin and Screenset to 20050 as suggested.

When I activate the start spindle button, I hear a relay activate in the VFD, the button has the green indicator to show active - motor does not start. When I de-activate the start spindle button, replay drops.

In Mach3, using 2010 screenset, start spindle, I hear the same relay activate, motor starts and goes to set speed. Stop spindle, motor slows to a stop, I hear the relay drop.

In SpindleTalker2, start spindle, I hear the VFD relay activate, motor starts and goes to set speed. Stop spindle, motor slows to a stop, I hear the relay drop.

Maybe useful, here is the SpidleTalker2 communications;

Yes made it a little clearer. 1.3 don't have a min RPM setting in configure but 8.1 does. Sounds to me that your starting spindle without a frequency set. What does this read when starting?

As far as Spindle Talkers sent commands

1 sending command for current RPM
2 sending command for Max Frequency
3 sending command for PD11 setting(lower limit Frequency
4 sending command for max RPM

Gorden did you hit calculate button and restart after change? Please try this than restart, than Go to Configuration/Axis setup/Spindle and confirm min and max RPM. Plugin should of set these to the min and max you inputted in HYPLUGIN8.1 setup. Also double check spindle pulley box is not checked.

Updated DLL with 5000 as minimum. Closed UCCNC, restarted.

As you can see, mirrors choice.

Hmmm, I'm stumped. No need for screen shot but you are getting the connected and responding window? Getting this window makes it even more baffling

How the plugin works is it test by sending a spindle stop command on start up and if VFD replies you get the Connected and responding window. If the VFD don't reply at any time it will continually send command up to 5 times if still no reply sends stop command and window "VFD stopped responding".

It seems all is working with plugin for you except setting the frequency(RPM). The relay click you here is spindle on and click when off. I normally would think its a problem within the plugin but others including myself is using the same 8.1 version you are.

For now my only suggestion is try downloading plugin again while I give this some thought.

Tried earlier versions of UCCNC - no luck.

Uninstalled everthing. Cleaned any remnants with Powerful Uninstall.

Re-installed, configured - exactly the same ;(

Hi Gordon,

I don't know why this plugin is not working for you on your system, I would be happy to write change any part to get you going, but first I need clearer understanding why this is not working just on your system. To do this we have to check under the hood to see what's happening. Below I posted a link to a free Serial Monitor, with this and plugin running we could see what strings plugin is sending and what VFD is and is not responding to, similar of the communication you posted with Spindle Talker. With this info I'm confident I could get you going.
