Make sure you don't have multiple hotkeys assigned to the same function for your A axis.

set softlimits for a axis to
+9999999999999 max
-9999999999999 min

Hey all, opps, my bad.
I guess I did change my hotkeys to ref the B axis when it was set that way and completely forgot (pain meds!!)
So now I can manually jog the A axis properly now. (thanks Gerry for pointing me to that again)

The soft limit issue remains however. (only affects the A axis movement)
- I have made the work around as Battwell suggests and that has corrected the issue.
- I really dislike fudging the system like this though.

There's really no other way to do it, if you want it to be able to rotate in both directions.
