"The application is closing"

Hi everyone, What is the reason for closing the application after losing the connection? Even for few miliseconds, or when I want to do some wiring work and test after reconnection i am forced to restart every time....
Most controllers I am aware of will give you an error, require you to home axes again and let you work without closing it. This is really annoying........ Can anything be done about this? Is the only reason for closing the app so that the software can check the licence?
