minimum pwm

minimum pwm

Postby Battwell » Thu Mar 16, 2023 11:41 am

should minimum pwm always be output?

if spindle is off and minimum pwm is set at eg. 12 then pwm is output on the pin.
(low analog voltage out instead of expected zero)
correct or as designed?

He's asking if it should go to zero when the spindle is off.

yes ger - i would expect the pwm output to be zero if the spindle is off.
i cannot think of a scenario where the pwm would need to stay output at the minimum value.

its annoying as it shows on the display of the vfd as a frequency.
