Limit Switch Wiring

Hi there
Currently fitting my first AXBB-E CNC controller as part of a refit to a bench top CNC machine
The existing machine has 2 x normally open limit switches on each of the X, Y & Z axis
I see on the wiring diagram for the AXBB-X shows 3 x NC limit switches in series
My question is can I connect these existing switches in parallel and change these in the setup to work based on a circuit being made ?

Do you mean wiring it as shown on the bottom of page 25 and top of page 26 in the AXBB-E User's Guide? Yes, that will work.
