I must say right away that I'm just getting started, so I apologize for the mistakes.
I'll try to explain as clearly as possible.
I have a few fundamental questions about connecting a serv.
In the machine, I will have 4 servos for 3 axis + 4th axis.
I'm going to connect via step-dir (base number of wires).
Pul +, Pul-, Dir +, Dir-, and also probably the motor Enable.
Question 1: Will I have enough pins for the servo to work correctly?
On the forum, I found the Delta topic and there in the comments a person cited his variant as an example:
"24V EXT - COM+ (11)
COM+ (11) - PULLHI (35)
GND EXT-COM- (14)
/PULSE (41) - O2 | [Step]
/SIGN (37) - O3 | [dir]
DI1-(9) SON-O4 | [Motor Enable]
DI5-(33)ARST-O5 | [motor clear]
DO5- (27) ALRM - Ix-endstop
e-stop alone goes to another spare pin"
As you can see, it has more pins involved.
Question 2 (most important): How do I connect all this amount of wires to AXBB, there are not enough outputs?
For my build, I bought axbb and a breakout board for the 4th axis.
And I would like to put 4 motors for 3 axles on AXBB, if possible without using a breakout board.
But for example, Port1 has only 17 outputs, which is not enough in theory.
Question 3: What type of connector goes to Port3?
Thanks
