in the air speed

Postby BJB » Tue Dec 20, 2022 3:46 pm

Was wondering, could someone tell me how to slow down the "in air" speed.
I would like to slow the speed that spindle moves when it is in the air while doing a job, or is that done in the CAD/CAM software?
Thanks

OK, found the velocity setting which was set at 5100. Clicked in the box and replaced 5100 with 4100. When I clicked apply settings it jumped back to 5100..... help
Thanks

Hit the Enter key after typing in the new speed.
The velocity is the maximum speed the axis is capable of moving, which is used for rapid (air) moves.
