Thank you for your reply. I will therefore update Win10 in the next few days and come back to confirm if this is no longer a problem on my computer.

I'm sorry, but no, the problem is not solved.

I spent more than 2hr uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, etc. and nothing works, the problem still persists.
Windows 10 (with its latest updates) still declares that the driver is not secure and UCCNC only offers to start in demo mode.

I will try with another computer in the next few days. Anyway, the problem still persists, maybe only for certain configurations, but it still persists. I will know more in a few days.

Nobody else has this problem anymore with the latest Windows updates, so it is strange.

Okay, sorry, it's my fault. I had updated Windows, reinstalled uccnc and the driver for the uc100 interface and uccnc still continued to launch in demo version.

That being the case, I decide to check for updates again and then I think of looking at the facultatives updates. Good pick ! windows then offered me a driver for the uc100 and since its installation, everything works like a charm!

So if you happen to come across this topic with the same problem, remember to check for facultative/optional windows updates and install the dirver for the UC100.

And, of course, thanks to the uccnc team for their technical support!

Hello all,

I am having the same issue with UC100 not working on windows 11 brand new computer and updated as of 10/11/24. It will only load in DEMO mode.

At first I was having windows security issues not showing up while troubleshooting, it was just a blank screen. I was able to resolve that and now I had access to core isolation and was able to disable memory integrity.
I followed the instructions and successfully reinstalled the drivers for the UC100 per the link provided, http://www.szentkereszty.net/uc100/.
UC100 displays correctly under device manager --> universal serial bus controllers. However, when I start the UCCNC software, it will only start in demo mode. Green light only.

I can use my old laptop running windows 8, and load successfully both green and blue, non demo mode machine working, so I know both the UC100 and USB controller work just fine.

Any help on how to further troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated. I know I am close to a solution...but yet so far away.

Thanks,

Jason Eule
