strange issue between uccnc and fusion 360

Postby netanel » Thu Aug 04, 2022 8:43 am

Hi all

im using fusion 360 (that i buy for testing in 60$ / month) and uccnc software

my machine is stepcraft D840 -2

my issue is when i post process to uccnc with more the one tool operation (i.e.. 2D contour and holes drilling)

i see it in uccnc in very very small scale and spindle are moving much much slowly

if i post process with one tool operation (i.e..only 2D contour ) its all works fine

any idea what can cuz this issue?

maybe fusion360 license limitation?

Thanks

It looks like Fusion is sending the machine to a home or toolchange position, and the part is far away from this location, so the display is showing all the movement. Could be setting in Fusion 360, or a post processor issue.
There's no issue with UCCNC.

I had similar issues when trying to use two or more different tools and Fusion told me that because I was using the free version that this was not allowed. If I'm doing different operations but with the same tool then all is well. But you say you are using the subscription version of Fusion 360 then this problem should not exist. It sounds like Fusion 360 needs to be reinstalled and it should show up without the "Personal-Not for Commercial Use" in the top left corner.
