1.2032 does not update firmware

I think there is no new firmware for the UC300.
I don't remember any bugs which needed firmware change, but will ask my collegue tomorrow, he can confirm this.

I tried to test the Q parameter for tapping. I did a test with one line with no Q and it went full depth the second line has a Q It makes the first Q pass, reverses and then sits with the spindle running. Like it's waiting for the index signal. I thought it might because of the firmware. But that doesn't make sense since it tried to do the Q. Any how I'm on 30140 FYI

And you running this with the UC300-5LPT, the USB version, correct?

Derek 2 more questions I forgot to ask:

From what Z height did you start the tapping. (Z=0 ?)
And when the first pass finishes and when you say it is just sitting and waiting, if you open the Diagnostics page is the Sync.Thread LED still on?

I may be able to get to the problem cause without answers to these, but maybe I will need the answers, so I thought it is better to ask now, so tomorrow I will better know what to look for.

Hi Balazs

Tapping starts .25" above work. After the tap reverses out of the hole and is at clearance height the Sync.thread LED is on and the CCW spindle LED is on. The spindle is turning CCW.
