Probe DTG issue

Postby karol.zalezak » Tue Jun 14, 2022 9:08 am

Hello all,

I'am new here. And have some issues with Probe plugin.

If I "Reference current as workpiece" after powering up the controller first time, the Distance to Go of Z axis is incorrect set from P1 variable.
In P1 variable is -110 and DTG of Z axis is more than this value (In this case -201.06 and counting down).
The biggest problem of this: if tool touch the probe, next movement is fast movement down and crash tool to the probe.
If I stop the macro with cycle stop before touch and again start probing then value in DTG is set correctly -110 and counting down and probing procedure is correct.

Software ver.:1.2113
Plugin ver.: 1.3.2.0

Hello Karol,

Check your probe setup: the SafeZ has to be set in machine coordinates and the Greater Z is safer in G17 has to be turned on.

Hello Karol,

I didn't remember at first, but there was a bug in the probing plugin. You can download a newer version of the plugin.
