3D probe protection

Postby Fabien » Sun Jun 05, 2022 2:59 pm

Hello,
I almost crashed my 3D probe multiple times. Could you add an optionnal protection that stops actual move if probe signal is changing for homing, move gcode and manual jog please.

Thank you.

The function is already available in the UCCNC, it is called safe probe mode.

On the probe screen there's a button to turn it on/off or the M213/M214 turns it on/off. (When the probe screen moves the axes it turns on the safe probe mode.)

Hello,

That screenset does not use the probe screen as I know. You can create a button with butonnumber 547 to toggle the safe probe mode. Of course, M213 and M214 works even if there's no button 547 on the screen.
