Networks & CNC usage

Not sure if this is possible as I know almost nothing about computer networks but is it possible to run 2 network devices from the same computer at the same time?
I have 2 machines which both have their own control computer are both using UC400eth motion controllers & UCCNC software obviously with separate licences for each UC400.

I recently picked up another machine & rebuilt the control box again using a UC400ETH for motion control, while building & setting it up I used one of the 2 control computers that I already have & just set up a separate profile for the & used the new licence I had bought with the 3rd UC400.

So now I am thinking if it is possible to run 2 different network devices at the same time from the same PC then I wont have to go to the trouble of finding another computer & a space for it to live lol I can simply run the 2 machines from the same PC at the same time. One of them is likely to be run mostly from a pendant anyway so I wouldn't have to keep changing screens.

Yes, it is possible. Setup separate UCCNC profiles for the 3 machines and then edit the shortcut icon of the profile on the Wndows desktop and in the Target field add the /s serialnumber, for example C:\UCCNC/UCCNC.exe /p profile1 /s CD1234

Then your shortcut will run the UCCNC software using the profile named profile1 and will only connect to the motion controller with serial number CD1234
It is then not a problem if more than one motion controllers are connected, because the sofware is forced to connect only to the motion controller CD1234

Thanks, I already have separate profiles set up for 2 machines on the one PC as I was using one of them for testing, the other machine runs on a different PC so no need to put the 3 machines on one PC. It was having the 2 profiles on the PC that made me wonder if I could run them both at the same time from the one PC, wasn't sure if the network would allow me to run 2 devices at the same time though.
This just saves me having to sort out a separate computer & find a space for it, also helps with needing fewer power outlets as well lol

Yes, you can run the 2 or 3 profiles the same time with 2 or 3 instances of the UCCNC running at the same time on the one computer.
