How to make UCR201 friendly?

Postby 2046 » Thu May 19, 2022 9:29 pm

Hello there,

The case
Why do we need the remote foremost?
To control the X Y Z right? Well stop the job, resume the job etc. But the xyz movement is the most essential of them all, and yet all the movevment functions are hidden under one button, why, when there is so many all around? I have no idea.

The public version 1.2 hides under the "AXIS FRO SRO" also feeds and speeds (unlike the actual development version which makes the whole thing slightly better, where you can limit the steps to xyz only).

Question
And so my question naturally is. If there is a way how to map at least by some macro the free or any button to my own function? A possible scenario that makes my/our life easier and the interface user friendly finally would be to map a switch to selected F1-5 button so that if I press F1 it selects the X axis, F2 selects the Y axis and so on.
Coz the way how it is now just drives me nuts.

Any help in this case is highly appreciated.
