Right, now the estop is behaving itself,the machine will not move the Z but will move the X and Y but only one direction regardless of what hotkey I have selected. I had this issue before but I cant find where I posted how I fixed it.

Ok so forget the hotkeys for now.
If jogging with the jog panel will your machine move as expected?

Thanks for the patience in trying to sort this, I reverted back to the chinese intructions that I had forgotten about (bought this over 10 years ago). And it was all down to the ports and pins being the right numbers. So have now got it all moving correctly, now just to fine tune it as best I can. I'm sure I will be back tho.
