are G20 /G21 not in UCCNC implemented?

Well, then I could work with the scale factor after all. I have a G-code file that contains inch values. If I use a factor of 25.4, it should work. Am I correct there?

I think so, but the feedrate will be very slow.

you are right, the feedrate should be corrected with an editor bevore milling. I'll test it.

It only works to a limited extent. The dimensions are okay, but as Gerry already said, the speeds in the G-code have to be adjusted by hand. In addition, neither the tool change point nor the position for the tool measurement are correct due to the factor. You can still work reasonably well with a single tool. But as soon as a tool change is due, you can forget the process. If I didn't have limit switches, the machine would have gone fully into the mechanical stops. It is a pity that G20/G21 are not implemented. Maybe this will still be tackled.

The simple workaround is to create two profiles, one for inches, and one for mm's. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to set up the second one from a copy of the first.

I've made a copy from my actual profile and renamed it. But how to change a mm-profile to a inch-profile?
I'm a little stumped at the moment.

You'll update every setting related to movement in your settings for all axes, update position settings for the offsets/softlimits/et. Just converting everthing by the mm to inch conversion.

speeds/velocities: divide by 25.4
steps per unit: multiply by 25.4 (multiplying because the units is in denominator...)
accel rates: divide by 25.4.

etc, etc, all axes, all settings related.

The attached may not be all encompassing of your machine, if you have tool changer positions, etc, you'll have to convert them all as well.
