Auxiliary (24V in schematic) always on?

Postby davida1234 » Sun May 01, 2022 3:30 pm

Can I have the supply 24V for the isolated i/o’s always on and still turn the AXBB on/off with the 5V board voltage?
Will it do anything funny with the attached ins or outs (E-stop, sensors, relays, etc.) when 5V is off but 24V is always on?

If you set them to active low, they will always be on.
I can't answer the second question, but you should never rely on the AXBB-e to control anything when it's not on. And even when UCCNC is not controlling it.
