This is where I'm now..
I do not have everything live at the moment. Here are some screenshots from concept making.

- The 3D in the sandy color is awesome I must say, I have it in live dev version and won't go back to black (this thing in preview is not real but quite close, the rel thing looks even better ;) ).
- I moved the offset to the right side of the XYZA input field where the 3 buttons together make more sense, as they literally move the head unlike the zero which zeros the "input field" only.
- The Yellow cancel button kinda spoiled all possible colors one can use. Green, red, yellow, there is nothing left other than blue and that does not help at all.. that being said, I do have a hard time to find the right color/tone for active buttons now.

Any other handy comments?

That's a great looking screen. Is that just for stepcraft machines or can that be adapted for other machines ??
Cheers

I would say you can use it with any machine. The screen is just a clothes on top of the UCCNC body, which is the mediator between the machine and the buttons that are mapped onto it.
Well try the first release yourself and let me know if it works for you too.
I curious if it covers your needs.
If the version that is on github now works for you, the new version with more polished pixels that is on the way will make no difference.

I have one suggestion for active/non-active buttons. Some GUIs have buttons with a small led "triangle" on their upper corner, I think they look really cool. Could be one option?

One example:

Definitely curve program, preferably https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/ you need a lot of automation in the process.

The most recent screenset will be up within week or two, not sooner unfortunately.

I installed the screenset this evening on an offline profile (no time to try it on a real machine today). This screenset looks really promising!

I wanted to retain my existing macros so here is how I installed the Screenset and enabled it for my existing profile.

1. Checkout or clone the github repository.

2. Copy the relevant files to your UCCNC installation directory. Note that my UCCNC installation is in C:\UCCNC\

Copy uccnc_screenset_2046\UCCNC\Screens\Stepcraft_2046.ssf to C:\UCCNC\Screens\
Copy the uccnc_screenset_2046\UCCNC\Flashscreen\BMP\Stepcraft_2046 folder to C:\UCCNC\Flashscreen\BMP\

3. Edit C:\UCCNC\Profiles\Default.pro (your profile file may vary) and change the mainscreenfilename entry as follows:

mainscreenfilename=Stepcraft_2046

I noticed the more recent screenshots look even more polished, so I am really looking forward to the next update! One small suggestion - I've always wanted a screenset which shows the minimum Z of a job on the main screen as this is the one thing I check before running every job. Not sure if this is just me, so I just thought I'd throw this out there.

I'll aim to provide more detailed feedback once I've used the screen on some real hardware. Thank you for sharing your hard work and well done!
