Limit ports on Axbb-e

Postby gfacer » Mon Feb 14, 2022 9:46 pm

I'm sure I am missing something dumb but I have an Axbb-e setup with a foam hot wire machine and it has mechanical switches wired NO in series for limits.

I have them hooked up to negative side of port 2 isolated inputs, port 11 and port 12, and they are seemingly working correctly. Green light is on except when triggered, both on the controller and in the software.

However, I cannot set pin 11 or 12, port 2 as the limit pins in the axis set up. It won't save, and I am not sure why. The obvious reason online was using output pins and not input pins but these are clearly input pins so asking first!

Thanks, Greg

The pins are 1, 2, 3, ...
They are labeled i1, i2, i3, ... Not 11, 12, 13

My eyesight and not the greatest font choices on the default screenset combined to make that not obvious.

Thanks! The inputs are working, although at first I didn't realize I needed to add the same pin again to the home setting. It's being a while.
