Laser Setup Questions

I'm trying to get a laser up and running from Opt Lasers. I'm not sure if I have the thing wired incorrectly or if the settings aren't correct but it's not responding the way it should. The laser turns on when I issue the M3 command - but so does the spindle. When it's on I can't get it to change the intensity or turn off using the M10 Q255 / M11 commands. When I issue the commands for M3 and subsequently M10 the diagnostic page looks to be correct and shows O17 in use. On top of all this, the laser will only turn on when the VFD is powered up, making me think that it's the wiring. Hoping someone more knowledgeable can take a look at the following pictures and let me know if there is anything obvious. Thanks!

Try reposting the pics.
You might consider making a separate profile for the laser, without the spindle configured.

I did try a separate profile but I ran into the same issues, I even tried removing output 8 as a relay and when I did that the laser never turned on. I'll try uploading the images again, here are direct links:
