uc 100 problems

hi has anyone had any difficulties with the software that is supposed to sort out the problem of using a paralell cable. Im talking about the uc100 that lets you use the usb connection. I bought the cable ffom CNCFORYOU and downloaded the needed files. But having problems with the install of the setup.exe. can anyone help?

Well I just successfully installed the files on a WIN10 laptop and an XP desktop in the workshop, and it connects to the UC100 fine and it drives my machine as well. I had no problems with either installation.

You say you bought the cable, I assume you bought the actual UC100 as well?

Could you give more information about your configuration and what problems you are seeing?

Hi I managed to sort out the install but now i have another problem. i have movement in only one direction on X and Y and nothing in the z. All motors have power to them the lights on the uc100 controller are solid green and solid blue. I have uploaded the motor outputs that was originally on the cnc when i got it and then what is on it now and what the instructions of the controller came with hope this helps.

The pin numbers for step and direction are different. If you haven't changed any wiring, set them to match what they were before.

Thanks that was a simple fix for the x and ybI know have those working,however I still have nothing for the z

Here is my control box the controller on the far left is my Z, it has two lights one solid red and a green one that lights when the button is pressed for the Z to move, and my DROs are moving for the Z aswell.
