Hi Derek,

Not really, the problem is that the HDBB2 has slow optocouplers and filtered inputs, so the input signals delays so much that it cannot throughput the high frequency of encoders.
The UCSB and UCBB breakout boards using fast optocouplers with minimal filtering, they can be used to interface encoders.
